This is an NOS Smiths fuel gauge BF2233/01 which was made for Jaguars but looks similar to Spitfire and MGB amd Midgets. It has the ring with the inside painted black and the outside aluminum. Box says manufacture date is Sept 28, 1977. We are a repair shop who is selling the inventory from over 40 years of accumulation. We back up what we say. The part in the picture is the one you get.
